The fermented sour apple juice – Apple Cider Vinegar – ACV contains alcohol which is achieved by adding yeast to the juice the natural sugar present in them is converted into alcohol. Then from alcohol to acetic acid. The name Apple Cider Vinegar simply means ” sour wine of apple”.
Over the years, Apple Cider Vinegar has been used for several purposes such as the killing of fungus, bacteria and other traditional purposes. But in recent times,  there’s shit in its usage from mere traditional purposes to health care purposes mainly – weight loss.

A study of 175 people who drank one or two tablespoons of ACV for three months revealed a change in body weight of 2.6 and 3.7 pounds respectively.
Those who drank two tablespoons a day; that is a spoon at a time experienced more weight loss when compared to those two took a spoon daily.
Also, a study published in the US National Library of Medicine said that the sour juice -ACV enhances metabolism thereby speeding up the rate at which the body burns fat.
Yet, another study was conducted. The sour juice was used on rats, the result proved a reduction in belly fat and in time, a stop in unwanted fat accumulation.
Vinegar has also been said to contain vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and polyphenols which reduce cell damage because of it’s antioxidant plus taking care of other diseases.

Does Apple Cider Vinegar Have Side Effects?

Reasonably, too much of everything is bad so intake of too much vinegar undoubtedly has some health implications.

(6) Use pasteurized Apple Cider Vinegar if pregnant or lactating.

I personally, prefer the lemon version of the drink because the mixture gives me the taste of a lemonade Plus the mood boost that goes with lemon juice.
It does not require many recipes to be prepared; all you need is the organic Apple Cider Vinegar( mother), water, lemon, and honey as a sweetener.
You can also use stevia in the place of honey if that goes down well with you or use other variations of flavors such as ginger juice, orange juice, pomegranate juice among others.

Again, pregnant women should avoid vinegar with the ‘mother’ to ensure the safety of their fetus.
Ultimately, there is no concrete research to prove that ACV is safe or harmful during pregnancy and pregnant women have been using it with no record of complication.
